Driven by a desire to support her family and community, Lina started her childcare business after taking classes at Cabrillo and learning about El Pájaro CDC. Despite the challenges of balancing childcare, schoolwork, and housework, she persevered with determination. She primarily serves agricultural families and is proud of her growth, including hiring an assistant and applying for a major license. Looking ahead, she plans to buy a home. For Lina, success means flexibility—setting her own hours, taking vacations, and enjoying the journey of being a small business owner.
