Welcome to the Regional Women’s Business Center!

 

The Regional Women’s Business Center (“RWBC”) is a program of El Pájaro Community Development Corporation.

In 2021, El Pájaro CDC received designation from the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Women’s Business Center. We are part of a network of more than 100 Women’s Business Centers throughout the country.

The RWBC empowers business owners and entrepreneurs in the counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito, especially women, minorities, and those who are underserved.

The RWBC provides multilingual and culturally relevant business education, tools, and resources to help women and minority entrepreneurs to thrive. We can help to start and or grow your business through educational workshops, business training, and one-on-one business coaching. The RWBC also supports entrepreneurs in accessing capital through microloans and grants. 

RWBC Training Programs

Empresari@ Program, is a business education program that offers classes on planning, marketing and managing a business, assistance in analyzing your business idea.

Food Webinar Series for startups, this program will help you to develop and formalize your food business idea, obtain permits and licenses.

Family Childcare Business, provide free low-cost workshops and specialized business consultation to home-based childcare businesses.

Our FREE business services are designed for new and established small businesses, developing strategy and gaining the tools to increase your business prosperity and growth.

Appointments are also available at our satellite offices in the City of Salinas and the City of Soledad in Monterey County
