Sour Sweet Treats was inspired by a nephew’s craving for sweet apples during the COVID-19 pandemic. Georgina and Richard Schneider turned this idea into a vibrant shop offering raspados, esquites, bionicos, custom sweet apples, and their signature Dubai strawberries. In 2021, they joined El Pájaro CDC’s Commercial Kitchen program and by 2022, they had fully incorporated and were actively using the kitchen. With support from El Pájaro CDC, they overcame early challenges in finances and inventory, gaining the confidence to run their own business and manage their time on their terms.
