Maritza Farm

Maritza Farms was founded in 2022 by Mayra Perez, inspired by childhood memories of working in the fields with her father. With support from her husband, Ernesto, they now grow strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, cilantro, green beans, jicama, and more. Mayra’s biggest challenge—her first strawberry harvest—became a milestone when she successfully sold her produce. They were able to install a cooling storage facility to keep crops fresh. Now, they hope to expand by securing an additional five acres to grow their farm even further.
